Tommeh!

Right, shits been a little crazy these past few months and havent had much time to work on the boat.
But now spring is here, its starting to itch like crazy and naturally ive made time to at least get properly started on the hull.
Heres how its looking atm.

It was a bit of a hassle, trying to find the right tool for the job and i feared that a sanding machine would take too much off, but seeing the severity of this black gunk having eaten itself into the initial layers, the current diagnosis is that itll need to get grinded down deeper than first expected. Also ive found some areas that need to be repaired before repainting.

Were not out of the woods yet, but its starting to progress nicely(this is after 4 hours of sanding lol. Keep in mind im doing this on my own so far.

Havent decided yet as to restrengthening the front deck(the mast sits on this so it needs to be pretty solid) as it was wooden, but it will likely become aluminium frame due to the maintenance intensity being way less. This could however lead to some other problems such as flexibility, any tips welcome^^ Here we see the front deck and all the wooden parts i took off and will be restoring soon. More news later, busy schedule and likely moving/rewriting the whole webbie.
